Badar Khushnood

I work as Google Pakistan Country Consultant and act as a local Google evangelist. I am helping Google grow its market share and educate the population about its innovative products. I am also responsible for establishing quality relationships with people/organizations of interest to Google Inc.

I am a strong believer in cutting-edge technology and my area of expertise include emerging technologies from all aspects -- marketing, business and a technical. I was previously Pakistan Sales & Marketing Manager for ASUSTeK Computers Inc., a Taiwanese hardware manufacturing company. At ASUS, I was responsible for country marketing, business strategy and execution. I also hold the honor to be the 1st Project Director of Industrial Information Network (IIN) at SMEDA. IIN is a joint project of Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom (MoITT) and Ministry of Industries & Production (MoIP), Government of Pakistan. I commenced his professional career with one of Pakistan's largest industrial groups -- Nishat Textiles.

In my previous lives, I secured my Masters in Economics & Management from the Lahore School of Economics (LSE) and undergrad from the Government College (GC), Lahore. I have extensive experience of working in multi-cultural, multi-stake-holder and public-private-donor partnership business models. During my 10 years experience, I have won many hats and have various entrepreneurial initiatives & consulting projects to my credit. I've also represented Pakistan at various international forums and have traveled extensively across the globe.
