- About me
The path to Bob Rhubart's career as a writer, editor, blogger, and social media expert spans more than thirty years and winds through stints as a furnace installer, a big-rig truck driver, a car salesman, and includes more than 15 years working in a violin factory.
Bob began freelance writing in his spare time in 1990, and his work -- mostly humor -- appeared in a variety of regional and national publications. His freelance writing lead to a job in 1997 as a staff editor at Books.com -- the original online book store. That was the gateway to positions at a succession of software companies, including Flashline, BEA Systems, and now Oracle, where Bob manages the software architect community on the Oracle Technology Network, Oracle's 4 million-plus member community portal.
