Gary Barnes

Gary (GT) Barnes is a web author and photographer living just outside of San Diego, California. He has been involved in the tech and blog community for many years now, though his current web publication (gtbarnes.com) has only been active since May 2008. He uses his site as a place to share news stories and developments in the tech, photograph and travel world that he finds particularly interesting. He also writes about his own photography and photojournalism.

Gary is also a composer, and has been working on a modern musical/opera since 2005 called Amira: A Modern Opera. He also has experience in web development and sound production. In terms of personal interests, Gary is a strong advocate of environmental protection, green technologies, and social equality. His hobbies include tea, coffee, kombucha and bokeh. He is also a great budget shopper, and knows absolutely nothing about fashion.
