Started in advertising in Canada many years ago.
Did the CPG thing.
Sent to South America for more CPG and lots of time on planes and in airports.
Learned Spanish. Bueno.
Next stop, Spain.
Shifted to a direct marketing agency owned by the holding company.
Learned a whole new way of doing things. Very cool.
Transferred to the head office in Chicago.
10 years doing direct marketing for some great clients.
A short stint “consulting,” then moved to San Francisco to be President of a direct marketing agency.
Transformed the agency from mail centric to a balance of traditional and online direct marketing. Satisfying.
Now, runs a pure interactive group at Hoffman | Lewis. Out there on the bleeding edge. Lots of fun.
