Journalist at Voice of San Diego
San Diego, Calif.
- About me
Liam Dillon, 26, joined Voice of San Diego as a political reporter in August 2009.
Previously, he covered the Catholic-oriented town and university of Ave Maria and higher education for the Naples Daily News in Florida. He also had an 18-month stint as freelance sports reporter for the Washington Post during and after his time at Georgetown University.
Some of his interests include playing football and softball, reading, Rockband and Christmas sweaters. One of his great pleasures in the past year was watching his hometown Philadelphia Phillies win the first championship for any Philadelphia professional sports franchise in his lifetime. He may or may not have played the "Rocky" theme song 30 times in a row while dancing around his apartment.
