Financial Services SVP experienced in driving revenue and profitability growth through world class sales process implementations, CRM and technology deployments. Six Sigma Black Belt with DFSS certified, Edward led strategic sales initiatives for Bank of America's national sales process team, collaborating with national sales regions, product development, marketing, training and technologyteams. Successfully managed deployment of the sales process training program for the entire sales force (>10k+ sellers) at Bank of America.
Edward also built, staffed and led a specialized mortgage and small business credit sales team of 3 Sales Managers and 50+ Loan Specialists in the markets of Seattle, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Palm Beach, FL, to performing from zero production in '07 to $94.6 million in '07 and $117 million in '08 for Bank of America.
Edward was a former Business Systems Analyst and Java developer with the Vanguard Group of Investment Companies where he was responsible for leading over 150+ Joint Application Development requirements gathering sessions for both the Retail and Institutional business units.
From 2000-2002 Edward was also the National President for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (www.naaap.org). During his administration, NAAAP National deployed the first centralized backoffice for use by all chapters, had its first National Leadership Retreat in Dallas, TX, as well as solidified the basic operational principles for chapter operations in Canada beginning with NAAAP Toronto.
It was also during his administration that NAAAP began standardization of the NAAAP brand nationally and instituting stronger fiscal policies. By the end of Edward's term, NAAAP National ended the fiscal year with a National budget surplus of +250% of what he began his administraion with.
