I am the landlord of The Tharp Arms, a small pub in the village of Chippenham, near Newmarket, Suffolk, which I run with my wife, Alison.
Born in 1972 in Redcar, North Yorkshire, to a family of entertainers, I enjoy an active imagination, a love of cars, an infatuation with Formula One and a passion for writing. I'm the son of a musician and the nephew of magician Paul Daniels; I enjoy an over-developed sense of humour and a creatively pertinacious view on life.
When I grow up I'd really like to make my living from writing books and articles, but I have no idea where to start. Any generous agents please feel free to get in touch.
