Michael Sandberg

I am an intelligent, motivated, and well educated professional that is continuously looking for challenging & meaningful work with blended technical, management, and leadership elements.

I grew up on Oshkosh, WI and graduated from Oshkosh West High School. I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2001 and graduated with my MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 2008. I now reside in Byron MN with my wife and two children.

In 2001, I joined IBM. During my time at IBM, I have become an IBM Certified IT Specialist and work as a technical consultant and program manager in the IBM Independent Software Venders (ISV) Business Strategy and Enablement team, located in Rochester, Minnesota. In the past eight years I have been involved with IBM Business partners; working with their executive teams to help them understand the business value of innovation, and enabling the technical teams to develop, enhance, and extend their solutions. As I have grown personally and professionally, I have found a growing desire to give back to the community. I fulfill this need by volunteering with the Olmsted County United Way (UWOC) as member of the Technology Solutions Team and a key driver of the Community Information Sharing System (CISS).
