Born in Surrey, UK. Grew up in Suffolk and Sweden. Ipswich School. University at Reading. BA Typography & Graphic Communications. Book designer Cambridge University Press. Great place to practice typo+graphic design. Four years later in 1997 set up OptaDesign. Lots of publishing work. Corporate work grows. Moved to London. Four years later moved back to Cambridge. Felt more settled. Started painting again. Lots of cycling (MTB and road). More web design. Lots of hi-tec clients. Met future wife. Moved to Prague CZ. Got married. Still very busy with OptaDesign doing design for print and web. Want to paint more. And screenprint. And cycle. Learning Czech. Slowly.
