BioBorn in
Yorkshire in the late sixties. My first job was
helping out in the Joiners shop where my Dad & Brother worked. I moved to London at the end of the eighties to do voluntary work. I did that full-time for about six years. I then took up secular work starting with an admin job at the
Prudential. I moved around a bit and ended up in IT support.
Since childhood I wanted to be a
programmer so I grabbed the first opportunity. I've learnt most of my
skills from the teams I've worked with and from 'oh
so many' tech books. I still love programming, however in recent years, I've been more focussed on my role as an Agile development team lead.
Along with my secular work, I'm still committed to my voluntary work and I'm also balancing that with being a very happily married
family man. Life is good :)
To see what's on my mind at this moment you might check out
my blog and a sample development project called
cong.
