After getting a BA in Philosophy from the University of Arkansas, I started working as a stagehand in Los Angeles, and managed to build a decent career doing it. I worked my way up through soap opera lighting, sit coms, all the way to running the automation on LA's version of The Lion King, and finally as an assistant soundman in a major theater. By the time I was diagnosed with a career ending disease, I was doing quite well.
Now disabled, I'm back to square two. At least I developed my hobbies, writing and web site design, into an internet marketing company. Now, I sometimes make money by making websites get higher search engine rankings.
