- About me
Dan Walsh is a musician, artist, nerd and businessman from Dublin, Ireland. He attended Sandymount High School and then went on to study art and play in bands for much of his 20s.
His first foray into
writing was when he was ten years old. He would write and illustrate his own books
with several endings, so that the reader could decide how each story ended. A
long career as a musician, an artist and an eventual move to into business, lead Dan to his current position as an IT Project Manager.
In early 2008 Dan started the webcomic GarfieldMinusGarfield.net which went on to become one of the most celebrated blogs of 2008. It has been featured in publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Rolling Stone Magazine and The Washington Post. He eventually received a book deal with Ballantine Books and Garfield Minus Garfield the book was released in late 2008.
Dan's personal blog is travors.com.
He now lives in
Dublin City Centre with his wife Yvonne and their dwarf hamster Fat-Ass.
