Engineer at Google
San Francisco, CA
- About me
I am interested in making intelligent computer systems that are usable by everyone. My work is about taking complex, error-prone but high value-add technologies and turning them into predictable and reliable tools that every user can appreciate and understand.
I am currently working on the GOOG-411 directory assistance project from Google.
I previously worked for Like.com, a visual search engine for online shopping. The company is also behind Riya, a photo hosting site using image recognition technologies to search for digital pictures.
Prior to Like.com, I was in the R&D group at Nuance, working on automatic speech recognition.
I completed a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, with Prof. Robert Gray and Dr. Ananth Sankar, focussing on improving the accuracy of automatic speech recognition systems.
I have published several papers on improving the performance, reliability and user interface of pattern recognition system.
I grew up in France, near Paris, where my family and my brother still live.
