One thing I found out abut the new Steam client for Mac is that if you're using Wine or a derivative of Wine (CrossOver Games for instance) and you've installed Steam for Windows with it then all Mac Steam game icons will start the Windows version of Steam and mess up the Mac client (temporarily). Sadly I uninstalled the Steam for Windows client I had in CrossOver Games to stop this from happening. Fortunately I didn't have any games downloaded yet, but I imagine that this will provide some frustration for those Mac users who have already downloaded Windows games through Steam for Windows under CrossOver Games. So, watch out for that.
