Twitter is without a doubt the best way to share and discover what is happening right now.

It may be flattering to get your tweet re-tweeted, but show caution in following that person. This example shows that the twitter user has zero followers and is following zero people.

via Jeff Kaplan by Urban Showe on 7/25/10

Over the course of three months, I attended three free networking workshops given by the Southern California UOP Alumni Association. These work shops where taught by Dr. Jeffrey Kaplan the Managing Partner of Ferrazzi Greenlight. This all lead up to a bigger event given the day after the June Southern California UOP campus graduations.

From the workshops Jeff showed me a new MINDSET, a PERSONAL BRAND, and has given me the TOOLS needed to create my new network of people for my success. The success was an immediate change in my life and how I viewed relationships, both personal and professional.

At the UOPX 2010 Inaugural Networking Event I was asked by to speak on what Projecting Executive Presence means to me. And I will be the first to tell you that had I not gone through the workshops, I wouldn’t have had enough presence to stand up and speak in front of an arena full of people.

After the event I was ask to speak at the 3rd Annual Teen Career Conference and Juvenile Drug Court. This was about giving the participants insight into successful integration into the workforce and doing so while maintaining a sober lifestyle. I got the opportunity to speak about setting goals and how to achieve those goals, using the methods I learned form attending Jeff’s Relationship Management Tools work shop. I had never before seen youth engage right in to what I was speaking about, because I was giving them something real they could use the moment I gave it to them. Young adults understand S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, and Time-bound). Not only do they understand, it give them a road map to achieve them.

Thank You Jeff for changing my life and giving me a new beginning. I now have better relationships at home and at work.

My Blue car is rebranding my family business… The Urban School of Self-defense; Where not only I will teach the physical, but most important the mental. Now that you know my Goal… Who wants to help me find my Blue car????
