Dr. Michele Borba, psychologist and author of “Getting Back to Basics and Raising Happy Kids,” says that compassion, empathy and fairness come naturally to children, but these qualities need to be nurtured or they may be lost as children mature. Dr. Borba suggests that parents should encourage the learning these skills through play and real-life experiences.
Dr. Borba helped Learning Curve develop The Mrs. Goodbee Interactive Dollhouse, a talking dollhouse that encourages sharing through more than 400 activities and songs.
