Havasupai Canyon Hike, 1996

Havasupai village in the Grand Canyon is home to havasupai falls. This was a hike with some of my family members and friends back in 1996. The floods of 2008 has devistated the area, and the falls will not look like what is seen in this video for close to a decade now.

On July 31, 2008, the State Board of Education voted in favor of local leadership rather than State control, a victory for the Roosevelt School District.

In the following video John Loredo, a representative of the school district, explains the political story of what happened, why it happened, and how to move forward. BlueDynamic was the Public Affairs firm that assisted the school district in its efforts.
