Time Lapse Healing of an Appendicitis Scar

Each day I took a picture of my scar from my appendicitis surgery. Each day bit by bit the "glue" flaked away and my body began to heal. After 33 days the scar looked completely healed. Internally the situation was much different.

Time Lapse Clouds

This was taken at Stanford using a Canon Mark III. The interval was the shortest the software would allow (one shot every 5 seconds). I compiled the movie in Quicktime Pro at 24 frames per second.

I will be posting the original resolution (5616x3744) movie on kingsleywillis.com on April 1st, 2008.
