Welcome to the University Research Programs. The goal of these programs is to let university researchers leverage Google technology to conduct more interesting research. At present, you can apply for research access to two of Google's products, Google Search and Google Translate:
The University Research Program for Google Search is designed to promote a greater common understanding of the web by giving university faculty and their research teams programmatic access to Google Search.
The University Research Program for Google Translate offers tools to help researchers in the field of automatic machine translation compare and contrast with, and build on top of, Google's statistical machine translation system (http://translate.google.com/).
