 After your visit from a Google Business Referral Representative, Google will send a follow-up postcard so that you can review the business information your representative collected.
When you verify the business information sent in the Google postcard, you'll be eligible for a $25 credit toward the cost of your ads if you sign up for Google AdWords. To receive our credit, you need a coupon code, which we'll send to you after you verify your business information.
To obtain your coupon code...
...if verifying online:
- With your verification postcard in hand, visit the verification page at www.google.com/local/verify.
- After verifying and / or correcting your information, you'll go to a page with more information about AdWords. Here, select among the options to either sign up for AdWords online or have someone call you to discuss AdWords.
- If you choose to sign up online, you'll be asked for your email address; we'll email your coupon code so you can sign up online and apply your credit using the steps below.
- If you request a follow-up call, you'll be asked for your contact information. We'll call you to answer your questions about AdWords and will then send your $25 coupon code by email (or give it to you over the phone).
...if mailing in your verification:
- Review the postcard we sent you to verify and/ or correct your information.
- Check the box for "Yes, I'm interested in AdWords" on the return postcard and pop it back in the mail to us.
- After we receive your postcard, we'll call you to answer your questions about AdWords, and then send your $25 coupon code by email (or give it to you over the phone).
To apply your coupon code for $25 worth of free AdWords advertising:
- After creating your AdWords account, go to the 'Billing Preferences' section of your new account.
- Enter the coupon code you received from Google (by email) into the 'promotional code' field on this page.
- To confirm your $25 credit, go to the 'Billing Summary' section of your account. Your credit should appear on this page.
- You're done!
Please note that you can choose to stop running your ads at any time. If you continue running your ads, after your free $25 credit has been fully spent we'll begin billing you for your ad charges via the payment method you provided when you created your account.
