It arrived with the software CD and install guide which I was pleasantly surprised by. Although the drivers were out of date, it was still a plus. You can get the latest drivers from the Intel website. The card tested good upon install and I m happy with it. You should make sure that you have an intel processor if you plan to buy this card; an Intel Centrino in particular. Otherwise you will have compatability issues. It replaced my Dell 1490 wifi card in my M90 laptop. Definitely a step up. Have a close look at the Intel website regarding this card before purchasing. Thanks Buy.com!!!

Card purchased to replace troublesome Atheros AR5007 for my Acer Aspire One. Works perfectly in Vista SP1 and XP SP3. Drivers from Intel.com or Windows Update (WHQL) will work. Excellent range.

Good price, better performance. Actually the signal strenght went from 30 to 80%. Youd do the math.
