  • Great value tripod
    By alfred7 - January 2, 2013 -
I did a lot of research before buying this tripod. It gets many good write ups on photographers forums and blogs. It's built like a much more expensive model and is really solid and sturdy. It's great value for a budget model considering many hundreds of pounds can be paid for a tripod. I couldn't find it for sale in the UK so it was great to be able to get it in the States and the 2 day delivery was fantastic! ... Read full review
  • Folds up good, easy to use.
    By Locust - February 25, 2014 - Best Buy
    Pros: Self-explanatory, good price.

Cons: WIsh it compacted even more.

Good balance of portability and durability. Seem sturdy enough to handle any typical camera and will fit into a large camera bag. Read full review

  • Handle with care!
    By SamRothstein - May 18, 2013 - Adorama
Pros: Folds Small; Lightweight; Good Stability

    Cons: Weak Construction

While the aluminum parts of this tripod are sturdy (the legs and center column) the plastic parts (everything else!) are suspect. I used this tripod for all of two night time sessions and the tilt adjustment knob easily got stripped, effectively ruining the unit. So for the price it's fairly sturdy, but beware that you need to be gentle with this thing! It even held up well taking 30 second exposures in a stiff 15-20 mph wind. Read full review
