    Pros: 6 Cores, and 12 threads of processing with Turbo Boost!

    Cons: Having to update the bios on your current X80 Motherboard

    The i7-980x is the King of Processors, there is none higher. This is hands down the best processor to come out of either AMD or Intel. Speed and performance is the best there is. Yes, it is a 6 core processor, no there are none others available. It will plug staright into your current i7 mobo, and only requires a quick BIOS update. This is the the chip for you if you want the fastest, the latest and the greatest, and/or the ULTIMATE in performance no matter what you do. Period. Read full review
