I couldn t be happier with my purchase of the Apricorn DriveWire adapter. I was able to clone my laptop drive to a bigger drive. It copied everything perfectly. I just swapped out the old, put in the new and it worked flawlessly. I did the same with my desktop hard drive to a new 2 TB HD. The result was a perfect transfer. The unit comes with software and all the cables you need. Power and USB. It couldn t be easier.

I never new transferring an entire hard drive including system operating files could be so easy. This unit is super easy to install and even easier to use. With the adapter compatible with all drive interfaces, all you need to know is what type of drive you need, and available usb port and CD ROM drive and you are good to go. The only one bad thing about the device is the mutant short 6 quot; power cord that comes with the unit. It is a standard cord, so I just replaced it with one from an old PC. The cord works fine, it just didn t seem right watching the power source hanging down from my wall outlet. If you ever want to make a complete backup or copy of a drive, this is the tool for you.
