for a long time I have been looking for a cookbook that provides easy meals that aren't "cheesy". This book is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Simple, elegant meals... well, full menus really.... that look as if they are much more expensive and time consuming than they actually are. I love that the book is divided into seasons. Each season has a large number of FULL menus using seasonal produce to choose from. I have yet to fix anything from it, however have looked through the book and everything looks amazing. I had read negative reviews on other sites about the meals requiring too much work and time to make. I'll say, they aren't going to be ready in 15 minutes but we're also not talking tomato soup and grilled cheese here. Each menu has a main dish, a couple of sides and a dessert. Most of the prep work can be done while other parts of the meal are cooking, etc, so it's not as much work and time as it seems. ... Read full review
