  • Would not purchase again
    By Chris - November 10, 2014 - Home Depot
Let me start off by saying I will not buy another one. I have read the manual and online manuals about this fridge and have not been able to solve my problem. I set the fridge on 5 and the fridge part will get cold, but the freezer will not even get cold enough to freeze ice cream. Ice cream turns to liquid. I turn up to 6 to make it even colder and then the freezer finally freezes...BUT the fridge part will blow soda cans up from freezing them. The seals are fine, door shuts properly, inner freezer door shuts. The temps just do not work correctly. Read full review
  • Great little fridge

We bought this model because it was rated highly by a third party service. Power consumption is low and the fridge effectively cools milk etc. Good inside space. Read full review
  • Decent refrigerator. Unacceptable customer service.
    By Mick - August 14, 2014 - Home Depot
Short: Beware: Inspect closely inside and out. Frigidaire/Electrolux will not replace damaged parts. It will only do an entire swap if the unit is not cooling. Details: The refrigerator performs well. It cools well and consistently. My issue with it is Frigidaire/Electrolux customer service. I bought online and the packaging is not robust enough for individual shipping and was fairly beat up upon arrival at the Home Depot. We checked it out externally and the unit looked ok so I accepted it. Upon later discovering the crisper drawer was cracked, I decided to just call the customer service number and get another under warranty. That was early June. I was told at that time the part was back ordered and would arrive mid to late July. A part did arrive. It didn't match or fit well. I called again and another part was sent that was an even worse fit. On the third call (mid August), I was told that they actually don't stock parts for compact refrigerators and could not replace broken components and the warranty only covers the functioning of the unit. Since it cools, they were only being nice when trying to ship a drawer that might fit. The warranty reads "Your appliance is covered by a one year limited warranty. For one year from your original date of purchase, Electrolux will pay all costs for repairing or replacing any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship when such appliaces is installed, used, and maintained in accordance with the provided instructions" My interpretation of that paragraph is that a cracked crisper drawer falls under the category of "any parts".
