- Guy's review of AMD AD3500OJGXBOXPros: Bought this processor for a HTPC. Plays HD video fine, Good processor. Best of all is the price!
Cons: Came with a 70mm coolermaster fan on the heatsink that isn't the quietest. Minimum fan speed seemed to be 2000rpm. Ended up unscrewing the 70mm fan and sticking on a 80mm whisper silent PWM fan that runs at about 1000rpm and is unnoticeable. Read full review
- stedman's review of AMD AD3500OJGXBOXPros: for price very good , I got this amd a6 cpu/apu 3 core as my first foray in to world of 2nd /3rd gen hardwear ,
what a surprise to find I can afford it even on my pension , to have built same unit 3 yrs ago would have been out of my reach but not now multicore apu/cpu,s give new dimension to pc,s
and power demands on systems are scaling back,
so you don't need a big psu to run pc,
+ bonus we have full blown VT with this ver CPU,AND MOBO .
Cons: even at this entry point so far no bugs, Read full review
- Micky's review of AMD AD3500OJGXBOXPros: Affordable low-mid performance triple core chip
Great graphics capabilities for what it is
Use it as my work pc - performs great especially combined with an ssd.
Cons: None that i can think of. Just remember if your wanting a gaming machine then probably not the processor to base your system around. However if light to medium gaming then might be worth it on a budget. Can always get an additional card for £30 Read full review
