I have been using this processor for about a month now. It works very well.

I expected it to be slower. It s fast enough to use on a desktop PC for simple works such as internet browsing, word processing, watching videos, Skype, etc. without getting a feeling that things are running slow. It actually runs quite fast and smooth!

Since the cheapest processor I could find online is around 30 euro, for this extra 20 euro you get a lot more--it s a triple core, so it works better with many programs open (compared to a dual core). It also comes with a powerful integrated graphics. The graphics will be a bit (~10%) better than Intel s HD 4000.

You can play games such as World of Warcraft (at high settings), League of Legends on medium/high, and something like Battlefield 3 on low graphics. Any game older than 2005 can probably be played at high/max graphics.

In the end this is still a slow processor. If you need to do heavy CPU calculations, such as video editing, high-end new games, compressing 10GB files, then this processor is not for you.

You cannot use this to play games like Battlefield 4. It might run on extreme low graphics, but it would still be difficult to play. If you want to play something like Battlefield 4, you will NEED a separate graphics card. Even then, the CPU will be quite weak, so you probably can t play on high/max graphics.

This CPU is not future proof . Unless you only work on office applications, you will want to change this CPU in about 5 years because you will feel it is too slow.

The low power usage is also nice.

I would recommend this processor to first-time experimental PC builders to get some experience in PC building. I recommend it to parents who want to give their child a budget low-end gaming PC. Read full review
