  1. GILT SHOPPERS BEWARE. GILT SELLS DEFECTIVE LIGHTING FIXTURES. YOU RECEIVE THE LIGHT FIXTURE, HIRE AN ELECTRICIAN AND THEN THE FIXTURE IS DEFECTIVE. THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE THE FIXTURE OR REIMBURSE YOU THE EXPENSE OF THE ELECTRICIAN! OBVIOUSLY THEY KNOW THEY ARE SELLING DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. WHY ELSE WOULD THEY NOT STAND BEHING THERE PRODUCT?

  2. Purchased what was supposed to be a new, authentic Roberto Coin gold & diamond bracelet. It arrived packaged in a flimsy plastic bag--not the box that all new Roberto Coin jewelry is packaged in--and had no papers to attest to its authenticity, which also comes with all new Roberto Coin jewelry. There is also a defect in the bracelet. I have tried working with customer service, including sending a picture of the defect. They replied that the picture was not good enough; however, everyone else I have shown it to can immediately pick out the defect. As to why it came with no box or papers, I was told that the description did not indicate it came with these, and I would just have to take their word that it is authentic. At best I believe I was sold a "second" or at worst a "knock off." This was an expensive mistake; one I will not make again. I will no longer be purchasing anything from Gilt.I have also contacted the Department of State Division of Consumer Protection for New York State.

Gilt 's final sale stuff didn't provide any warranty of the product, but their description did not mention about it, after you place an order, you can't cancel it, If you call the customer services, they will blabla a lot but do nothing about it. I think they are lier, the behave is cheating, I will suggest everyone for looking this review, Not buy anything on Gilt

  1. I shopped on gilt.com when looking for a present for my wife (I ended up getting her a new pair of shoes). But the design of the site was poor, many items were out of stock, and the items they have are way overpriced. For a splurge present, it worked out ok, but I do not plan to keep shopping there.

  2. Placed an order for a patio set, called to verify that it was correct because it was a good deal. They confirmed the price and set she even emailed me additional information. Two weeks later they told me it was there mistake they couldn't give me the deal and added a credit to my account. They failed to explain the credit has an expiration date. Who wouldn't use free money needless to say they took it away. Don't shop here they are a fraudulent company!!!

  3. DO NOT PURCHASE JEWELRY FROM GILT! The promo pictures do not accurately reflect the true value of the item and they do not stand behind their product. If you attempt to return it, they'll give you the run around and then tell you it is a "non refundable" item. I just wasted $1,000 on a necklace that is worth less than $100. I will NEVER ORDER from Gilt again and I strongly recommend others avoid being caught by their scam tactics.

  2. Just had a horrific customer service experience with your company today. Had a $10 "Insider" merchandise credit because of my prior purchases and a 30% off promo that was mailed to me. Tried to use them on a toaster that I saw on the site, and the site would not take both. Figured that if I talked to customer service via your chat window this would be taken care of quickly. How wrong I was!!! The first rep named Ellen said that I could not combine 2 offers and that she could not do anything for me. Escalated the issue to a supervisor name Cian who gave me the same baloney policy. Then had to escalate the issue yet again to a manager named Mike. He then gave me the same old nonsense. However, I insisted that he come up with an acceptable resolution to the problem. After about 30 minutes of going back and forth with reps, supervisors, and managers, he finally did the right thing and issued the $10 as a credit (as opposed to what you guys are calling a "promo") so that I could use the ...
