  1. This was my second order with the Home Security Store, and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. I had some pre-purchase questions, so I called the sales people. They answered in a very timely and professional manner with useful information.Since I am not a tech-savvy person. I called the Tech Support Department for help. I received excellent service with immediate response. What more could I ask for.I will definitely use homesecuritystore.com again and I would recommend them to anyone as a source of home security products.

  2. bought set of 6 intercoms Chamberlain Wireless Intercom Kit of 4no power supplies no indications of need power supplies on website. called and they said they know an would I like to buy the power supplies. first and last sorry guys and gals you get an F on this one.

  3. This is my first order through Home Security Store and so far, I'm not a satisfied puppy(as of yet). I purchased a complete XTI system on 10/17. As of 10/27, I have yet to receive my package, any communication about my order or even a "Thank You for your purchase", but yet they charged my card the same day I placed order. I did call a CS Rep and they just said my product was back ordered and gave no time frame!

  2. Ordered 2 GE CADDX NX-4 Fastpack Kits, and each box had a missing keypad and transformer. I called customer service, and they said that because of their inventory system, they could not simply send out 2 keypads and 2 transofrmers. They said they would ship out a replacement right away that day, and include a shipping label for me to return what they had previously sent me. 7 days later, I get an email saying that there was a "manufacturing" problem. What? So I emailed them asking for a time frame for the parts. No answer. I am calling them today to find out more info... I ordered on Nov 22, and today it is Dec 13. Update: Called them just now and the salespeson confirmed that they had several identical issues with kits msissing parts. They explained that they are correcting the problem. The salesperson was polite, curteous, and pleasant to talk with. Appears that the problem is going to be resolved. Changed the rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Will update again when more is known. ...

  3. I gave an honest assessment of my experience with homsesecurity store at first, but with my pursuit of justice I was net with a compromise by them. Customer service decided to give some consideration for my return and considered a reduced restocking fee of 10%. I feel it was a good compromise since I am willing to pay for the restocking of an item and the financial turnover a company incurs. I feel a 10% restocking fee is more than adequate compensation for the company. Therefore I feel good about them willing to make some type of concession for receiving all their merchandise in its original packaging.
