  2. Solid product delivery company. Difficult to piece meal systems due to lack of transparency for compatibility. Return policy is short fused with only 15 days from purchase (not receipt) for exchanges or refunds. I had to return one of the keypads from the original purchase. It was compatible for operation, but not capable of programming the Vista20 alarm panel it was purchase with. Overall, if you know what you want to purchase, and research on other outlets and sites, this vendor can provide good product quickly.

  3. We recently replaced the windows in our home. The alarm company wanted $700 to install contacts on 15 windows. I'm pretty handy with electronics so I thought I would try my luck at installing myself. Well I got the job done in about 5-6 hours. Home Security Store saved us over $600. Thank you so much.

  1. I bought a Visonic PowerMax Pro less than 2 years ago. It recently started having problems and now will not work. The display reads "==PowerMax Pro==". I have been told that it is a malfunction. I spent over $500 on the system and peripheral sensors and accessories. I bought it specifically based on a customer service rep who told me it was "dependable". Clearly this is not the case. I have complained previously and also contacted the Better Business Bureau and other agencies. This is highly frustrating. Do not expect much from this company. They don't even post phone numbers to call.

  2. Ordered a complete alarm system for thousands. Order and installation went smooth. I added some items and had a few technical questions and all was great. Early December I ordered a complete video surveillance system. Got it and installed with only 1 problem. The monitor that they sent would not fire up. It didn't have a cheap price tag but looked pretty cheap. I hooked up my laptop to the system, and another monitor that we had and both worked fine. So I contacted them for return and refund of the defective monitor. Initially could not reach them. When I did they gave me a RA number and said they would email me a shipping label. I called back a week later and they said we won't pay for return shipping. I spoke with customer service who said a manager would call me back to square it away. Still haven't received a call. I called back and left several messages but no reply. Its been a month. What company runs their business this way? Definitely not a good one. Avoid at all costs.

They say they are out of business but they use the same url and sell you product by DSC which will not let them buy any more product due to unethical business practices selling consumers out dated equipment. We are sorry to state that Home Security Store Inc. is no longer in business. (domain name only) has been leased by Nataly Kay Enterprises LLC, as of 1/27/2015 and cannot honor any warranties or guarantees issued by Home Security Store, Inc. We can offer free technical support to Home Security Store Inc. customers through our HELP DESK system on a first-come- first-served basis. Hello Daniel, The GSM module is a 2G model which will be discontinued everywhere by 2016. Your area may have already been discontinued. DSC has no direct 3G or 4G unit for the Alexor system unfortunately but item 3G3070-USA could be used for 3G communications to Alarm Relay.

  1. My order was mysteriously cancelled without notifying me. Waited over 2 days for customer service to respond to my emails and voice mail... and still waiting.

  2. Home Security Store does not take care of their customers. I guess the online component makes them too removed from the customer to care. They wouldn't return an item after I spent nearly $2000 with them. Now I have a device that I cannot use.

  3. Ordered two Sabre window alarms, both products stopped working within a month because the windows get too cold for the batteries to work. I take them off the window and warm them up and then they work... away from the windows. A pretty pointless product if it's not doing its job if you ask me. Called customer service, AND THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, and when I requested to be transferred to tech support, I was on hold for 17 minutes, and then hung up on. I will never be purchasing from this store again. Do not waste your money, and they don't care if their products don't work.
