  1. Originally payed for the service so that my son could watch TV in his room from his xbox. App installed relatively simply and after initial problems getting it to work on the way the setup works in the parental control settings on the xbox, we were away. Now we all use netflix all the time because of the number of great films, documentaries and box sets on there. Sure there are things you'd like to see on there that aren't but the range of stuff to watch is so wide, you can always find something, and for the price of 5.99 a month there's little to complain about. Overall, really impressed and would recommend it. We frequently due to 'conflicts of interest' are watching three different things on various devices or TV's.

  2. Netflix is an online streaming service for TV programmes and films. For 5.99 a month you get to watch as much as you like on Netflix. TV is where Netflix really shines though and it's great for catching up on older TV programmes you might have missed the first time or didn't know about. Netflix is available on many devices. If you have a computer it'll work on Windows or Mac. Apps for Netflix are also available on PlayStation 3 & PS4, Xbox 360, Kindle Fire, Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, some Android phones, Roku and also some Smart TVs.

  3. When I initially signed up for Netflix, I was a bit skeptic, particularly about the service's ability to compete against the concentration of power in the media industry i.e. a handful of companies controlling content and resisting change. However, Netflix has won me over with its ability to strike good content deals, exclusives like Breaking Bad, and originals that are turning out to be better than anything seen in recent times. House Of Cards, in particular, is a great example of the future of television, which might as well be an obsolete term in a few years thanks to Netflix.

  1. YEah they got a ton of crap movies, but it's dirt cheap what you for all the good stuff you do get it's worth it. I DO WISH they had a "premium" version--pay more and get some even better movies, I'd dish out more for better quality...

  2. For 9$ a month I dont know why people are complaining, you have unlimited movies for 9$ a month. People expect to have top of the line movies with top of the line actors and over a 1000 different great movies to chose from for 9$. Not happening.

  3. I absolutely love the independent movies and original programming that has been added to Netflix. When I watch old tv shows that aired on network television, I get to watch the entire season whenever I want and without dealing with the ads and commercials that are included on other streaming websites. I've been a Netflix subscriber on and off for about 10 years. The quantity and quality of their content has improved substantially.
