  2. I wanted to order a new laptop. I know I wanted a specific setup due to some of the graphics programs that I use as well as some intense games that I play. Powermax was an absolute delight to work with for this. They were very tuned into me when ordering. They treated me like I was buying every bit of their inventory. I am very pleased to know that good customer service is not dead.

  1. First time using Powermax but I've been nothing but pleased. The person in charge of my purchase case, Gary, was exceptional. He communicated everything, clarifying billing information snafus (PayPal issue, not Powermax), and helped when Apple refused the AppleCare plan I had bought the same day I reported it! The MacBook I got from them has been perfect and was spec'd exactly as advertised. The pricing is really good, especially for a college student like me. As a bonus for those in CA, they're right in OR, so shipping seems pretty fast! I got my order very quickly. Will definitely be shopping here for all my Apple needs.

  2. I ordered a iMac on Dec 8th and received a DOA and a bent foot. I did a hardware scan and it came up with an error. The hardware scan that is on the iMac. It took less then an hour. Why was this not done by Powermax? So I called and spoke to Dennis he did not call back. So I called back and spoke to Michelle she said I would have to pay for shipping and 10% restocking. Why was this not checked on your bench test? Then she said I would have to pay for a second iMac. It would come to $871.31. Then I would get a credit back of the first iMac less 10% and less shipping three times all because Powermax did not do their due diligence. I was told by Michelle she could not take care of this by Christmas. So now my daughter has no Christmas present. I'm sure powermax can afford to buy several extra Christmas presents with the extra 10% they are keeping for purposely sending out DOA and or broken computers.

  3. Very disappointed in this company. I bought and traded in an iPad. They did me absolutely no favors with shipping trade-in, and charge a ridiculous amount to buff out engraving. Plus, they take an extremely long time to inspect the trade in. If you mention this to them and bring up the petty buffing fee, they re-send a million disclosures telling you that they already told you about this stuff. Yes I know you told me you were slow, that means your service is great? No. I would rather purchase directly from Apple since the service is better and you pay the same. One time customer here.
