We stayed at the L'Auberge Casino Hotel on 621/15 to 6/24/15,I was with four other ladies and we all were very please about how gorgeous the Hotel is.The rooms were large and beautifully furnished, with a view of the Mississippi River. Also a very good Buffet, We will go back again next year. All employees we encountered good at what they do. The young man at the front desk was so nice and helpful. One of our ladies had a health scare and he went all out to help. He told us he would call for an ambulance if she need to go to hospital, then gave us a number for a 24 hour Nurse to talk too. She felt better after talking to the Nurse, he let us sit in VIP area until she felt okay and would check on her every few minutes to see how she was, and wanted to know if he could do anything else. His name was Terrell Miller who worked the late ship. He was so helpful and supportive that she offered him a $10.00 for all he did, but he refused it and said he was glad to help. we were so impressed ...

  2. While vacationing in Hilton Head South Carolina, we went out to dinner at the Old Oyster Factory. We had the most delicious food and experienced what true hospitality was all about with a waiter named Aaron. The manager of the place was very friendly and greeted all his customers at the door going in and going out. I would recommend this place to all my friends and most definitely will go again. The sad thing about it is, we live in Mississauga Ontario, so we Frequent the place more often. Thank you Aaron for a memorable dinner.

  3. TripAdvisor is my "go to" site for making detailed travel plans,to select the best hotel and the best room within the hotel. The many pictures, both from management and crucially from travelers, make choosing so much easier. For example I will always look for bedroom and bathroom photos to get a good idea of what to expect. When picking a restaurant again this site provides invaluable information. My advice is don't worry about a few ratings of a hotel or restaurant as "poor" or "terrible", just so long as the vast majority are "good or "excellent". In addition to hotels and restaurants there is a wealth of advice and reviews of attractions and things to do worldwide.

  1. I have taken three wine tours with Brandon and Moon's Vineyard Voyages in Fredericksburg, TX. It has been a fantastic trip each time. Brandon is completely attentive but not at all pushy. Once you get on the bus, you do not have to do anything but enjoy yourself!! He takes care of every other detail. I highly recommend this wine tour company. Loved every trep!!!!!!

  2. We visited Pirate's Island on a recent trip and really enjoyed it. It was decorated well, had music to go with the theme, and was really one of the nicest mini-golf courses I had ever been on.

  3. On July 20th last I had a late (very late indeed) lunch at "Cafe Chianti" and elected a Ravioli with lobster. I must say that this ravioli was the best I ever had outside Italy. I should say that, before retiring, I used to travel to Italy about once a month. Good service too.
