Since we're handling the configuration for your Google Apps services, you may not need to contact your registrar. When you activate a service in your Google Apps control panel, we'll configure your DNS settings for you. For example, you can simply add 'Email' to your list of services and we'll set up your MX records to properly send and deliver mail for your domain. - Email, calendar, instant messaging, web pages and more at no extra charge

Note: Google doesn't register or host domain names. We've partnered with a few companies that offer these services because it's a lot easier to set up a Google Apps account this way. If you'd like to access your hosting account, click Advanced DNS settings in your control panel. You'll be directed outside of Google.
