To upload pictures with Blogger Images just click the image icon on the posting form; you can choose multiple images from your computer or the web to add to your post. See this article for details on all the options.
What are the limits on the size or number of pictures uploaded?
When you upload an image through Blogger, it gets stored on Picasa Web Albums, and is therefore subject to the quota limit on your account there. You can log in there with your Google Account to access all your images. To find out how much space you have available, please see this help article.
Note: If you have recently upgraded your quota limit, you may have to login to your PWA account in order for the new storage quota to be reflected on Blogger.
What file types are supported?
You can upload images in JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF or BMP format.
Can the images be included on other webpages?
If you use Blogger to publish to an external site, we will FTP the images you choose to your external server. If your blog is hosted on Blog*Spot, we will host the images for you (for free). The images we host for you can only be displayed on Blog*Spot sites.
How does this work for FTP users?
This feature also works on FTP blogs, but in these cases the images are uploaded to the FTP account hosting the blog, rather than to Blogger's image server. So the overall number of images you can post may be more limited. Images will be uploaded to an uploaded_images/ directory within the main blog directory.
These blogs will also retain the upload feature for other file types, as before, though this will now use a separate Upload File button:
You can also use this button to upload images, if you do not want to use the extra features of the image upload tool, or if you want more control over where the image is stored.
