Use the Task Manager to get details about a specific process running in Google Chrome, or to force a misbehaving tab or application to close. Follow these steps to open the Task Manager:
- Click the page menu

- Select Developer.
- Select Task manager.
You can also use the Windows keyboard shortcut Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
For each active item in Google Chrome, you can monitor the amount of memory taken up, the amount of CPU used, and the network activity (bytes sent and received).
To force a misbehaving webpage or application to close in Google Chrome, select the webpage, then click End process. Try reloading the tab to see if the error persists.
Sometimes multiple websites might share a single process, depending on how you opened them. Clicking End process displays an 'Aw, Snap!' message in all associated tabs.
