Hi Jason -- that option isn't available yet. We're looking at a bunch of customization options for the thumbnails on the New Tab page, so your feedback is definitely appreciated.
Simon
This feature is really important
This is one feature most of the users definitely looking for.. Expecting an update on this very soon. Thanks Google for this wonderful browser
This feature should be fully customisable i.e. number of sites, size of thumbnails etc. Also should allow users to assign favourites as thumbnails. The most visited thumbnails is a fantastic idea. Google Chrome is a fantastic browser, clean appearance and simple to use - better than rivals. By the way - why is it called "Chrome" Yum.
Would be nice when you add the customization to most visited if you allowed independent resizing of the thumbnails... nice to bring emphasis to most used etc.
I don't see anyone talking about customizing the "most visited" I want to change some, but seems the only way is to enter to that website hundreds of times. I'll try to create a new post for that anyway. Help apreciated
I LOVE the most viewed sites but I agree with Mr. Slave. It would be nice if you could completely customize it. There are some sites that I really want on there but I have to wait until I visit them so many times. It is frustrating.
this was the dumbest update yet. the whole point of the home page is to have readilly accessible pages. we no longer have that. so freaking udmb.
It would be nice to be able to pin unvisited sites to the page and have 16-25 available, but far more important to get back the pages we already had. As mentioned elsewhere, please undo this 'improvement' or at least allow people to opt out (it can't take that long to a feature to switch back to the old new tab page.)
I also agree with Mr. Slave, my screen could fit 5x4 thumbnails or 4x3 if I could make the thumbnails bigger. Favorites (or bookmarks) are now just a simple drop down menu, and I would really love if if I could see thumbs for each bookmark, just like "most visited" section.
More thumbnails would be a great addition to the New Tab page. It's been nearly a year now since this thread was created, how's the progress coming?
I'm pretty sure that this "I want more thumbnails" campaign is not going anywhere....( ⊙ o ⊙ )
It's been over a year, this is the kind of service that everyone hates. I even have the BETA version of Chrome and still nothing.
I would definitely like to see the most visited page acquire some customization options. Any news on this Google?
I've given up and just switched to Safari - at least now I can have more than 8 small thumbnails and a huge empty white area on my start page!
