I have been researching a service called GoogleCash which is a work at home plan. Is this a legitimate business or just a scam ? If it is just another scam, why does Google allow them to use their name and trademark ?

I would doubt it.  If you want to make cash from google without being an employee read up on Adsense.  You can do this for free.

I hope that you realize that there are limited responses made by Google employees on these forums.  Most information is provided by volunteers who do their best to point folks in the right direction based upon the information we have available to us (generally Help Center articles or personal experience or referrals to other appropriate groups.)

In the case of GoogleCash I doubt that you should expect a personal response from an employee.  However, if you really would like to strive for that, I would suggest that you post in the Adwords Help Forum, as GoogleCash appears to be based upon doing something with Adwords.  I must say though, anything like this that states that some people are earning $30,000 per month is extremely suspect in my book.  I would run, not walk from any program with such claims.

I've included a link to the Adwords Help Forum if you want to get additional opionions and possibly get a response from a Google employee.  That said, I would prefer that the Google employees focus their few responses on matters that are more pressing to the majority of posters.

Actually, the more I think about this and the more digging I do, the less sense GoogleCash makes to me.  The website I found references using Google Adwords to make money.  If they had mentioned Adsense ... and how to earn money from using Adsense on your own personal website, I could understand.  But ... the reference to using Google Adwords and how that would make you money is really over the top for me.

What is Google Adwords
http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=6084&topic=115

Update: The GoogleCash site I ran across mentioned "affiliate marketer" and "professional deal broker."  You may want to review the resources mentioned in the following Adwords discussion to get a better idea of what might be going on.  That still will not give you a feel for how "legitimate" that particular business is, though.  This approach to earning money is too convoluted for me.  I would still proceed with caution, if at all.

I would not trust them or their site, I continue to get pop-up advertising on their site that cause me to close my browser for fear of infection.

They have even creating an official sounding website [with spelling errors]: http://www.federalreviews.com/googlecash.html [That may be part of their affiliated marketing program ;-)] and I would hesitate to click that link it is not a federal site else it would end in .gov].

Great finds!  I was afraid to go too far with my searching for fear of what would happen to my computer if I clicked on the shadier sites.  Of course, the GoogleCash site I found wasn't too reassuring.  What can you expect when the prominent photograph is of a young, bare-chested man?  That one just screamed at me to get out of there!

Anyway, the devoracles article clarified something for me that I had already suspected about this business venture ... I just couldn't find it on my own.

http://devoracles.com/google-cash-explaining-why-is-it-a-scam

When referencing the "e-book" the article states:

It explains how to create AdWords ads in a way that is forbidden by the AdWords Terms of service. Nowadays you can’t use hop-urls to fool the users who click on the ads

That would be enough for me to steer clear of such a money making scheme.  Many people are not aware that what they are being encouraged to do is against the Terms of Service (whether it is related to AdSense or AdWords.)  Yet another reason anyone considering any of these schemes should check with the AdSense and AdWords forums so someone can explain this type of thing to them.

I've just found an advert for GoogleCash $30k p/month through facebook. I was curious. Deciding it sounded too good to be true, I just searched for some info and came across this thread. There seems to be a LOT of websites set up about googlecash work from home stuff. Anywho - thanks everyone for confirming that this isn't legit...

Hey mooredc54,

Thanks for linking to me :)

I get emails every week regarding the legitimacy of this Google Cash system/cow/kit/etc. I'm wondering why people still think there's a rapid way to get rich. It's also interesting why Google or the applicable US office doesn't do something to make it end. If am not mistaken this service can be reported to the FBI as well, again I'm not an US resident and don't have knowledge regarding what can be reported and what not.
It's weird though. The devoracles article used to rank high a couple of day for the [google cash scam] search term and now dropped back to almost nowhere and been replaced by affiliate marketers websites(ish something). Whatever, I just tried to help with the article :)

Again, thanks for linking to me :)

Note that not all work-from-home businesses are scam, but the vast majority of them as far as am concerned.

It can be really easy to recognize a scam. For example in Google Cash system's case, it's obvious it's a scam because Google has nothing to do with it. If you observed, all the Google sites looks the same, while all the Google Cash scam-sites has a fishy aspect and in no way looks like a Google page.
You can also do at anytime a "service name scam" (replace the service name with the service's name you want to check) on Google, Yahoo or Live. If in the first 20-30 results are posts which states somebody has been already scammed, you can learn that its very likely that it is a service which conducts fool play. It's said likely, because sometimes there are websites which tries to ruin somebody's business by forging false statements about good services. It's another form of blackhat(ish) practices.

I used to sign up to services to test them whether they are scam or not (and I usually posted the results on Devoracles when found something).
In the country where I live I can have as many Visa cards as banks are and I have one card which is always empty. I fill it up only when I know I will spend it, always with the sum I want to spend and this way I can't really be ripped off with sums I didn't give my consent on. My luck is that the bank I work with (Raiffeisen) informs me on every charge request and this way I can learn whether a service wants to charge me with more than I was aware of. Pretty cool system

Hey everyone, I saw an ad on facebook of a Guy standing next to a farrari with the line 'I make $100 an hour' so obviously clicked it and next thing I know Im reading about google cash.  Now im pretty sceptical about everything on the Net but I must admit, this looked pretty cool and written in a way that was convincing.  I dont like buying unless its certain and I sure as hell hate to be conned so I found a torrent for 'google cash' downloaded it and it did look pretty easy stuff and a sure fire way of making cash.  Just before I started pumping my hard earned cash into advertising fee's I thought I'd do a bit of looking round for people who think its a hoax.....ok, this is what I found and it pretty much sums up the answer your looking for......'It doesn't work!!!!'  If it did work, it was a while ago before the market got saturated and advertising fees went sky high...the only person making money is the guy selling 'google cash ebook'.  Check out the following link to some guys review of it all, he done the mistake which your about to do and wrote about it so you dont have to.

The premise behind this information is most assuredly not a scam - they are just describing affiliate marketing. I run a small search marketing company and most companies are absolutely clueless about how people use the web. There is an absolute dearth of talented search marketers and I actually welcome the possibility of some random dude coming in basically off the street.

Is the info worth it & the rebills legit? Probably not, but there is at least one of these google-cash-type offers that is legit. I won't say which one, but I did read the early version of it back in 2004 which was what was the impetus from me wanting to be a guy that owned an online golf shop to being a guy that helps companies (and myself) make web searchers/shoppers' lives easier. I was that guy who came in off the street.

Self-taught is actually where my company got all 7 employees we have right now. There are very few educational opportunities in this field that are worth much according to the resumes I get from job seekers and from the average syllabus I peruse on (allegedly good) b-school sites.

So perhaps most of the offers in this field are garbage & it does come off rather disingenuine but the basics behind it are solid and for a person who doesn't know what they don't know - a product like this could put them in the right direction.

Flame away... ;)

& to grantardo - you're right. Google makes 99% of their income off advertisers bidding on adwords, yet nobody's making money and we've been burning sacks of cash for years. Ad costs are too high. It's all a scam.... lol.

C'mon now. There are entire swaths of the market that don't even advertise on adwords. We represent companies in all kinds of markets but some are making a literal killing because it might take them a year or two to rank organically for a particular term. But... they could bay $0.10 a click and be #1 on adwords. Granted those markets are a bit harder to find but but they're a lot easier than you might think.

Most of the affiliate marketing/biz opp/pipe dream type materials out there are geared toward more commercial and well-known markets. But, what if you did advertising on a performance basis for a company that sold a needed service for industrial companies. There might be some advertisers but most of them are inexperienced, so you blow them out of the water in a couple months. How much could that be worth? Depending on how your site works, that could easily be a few grand a month profit and once you have the campaign rolling the only thing you need to do is keep testing so you stay ahead of the competition and keep finding backup customers in case they flake out.

So I guess the real answer to if this is a scam is partly the product's value which I discussed in the last post, but also the mindset of the person searching. If they want to make money for nothing then they will probably be disappointed. However, if a person has a couple ounces of drive and can retain a little bit of knowledge then this market is wide open for a ton of profit and opportunities. The only reason people talk about this stuff isn't that they're giving away some kind of secret knowledge but rather they know there is no way they could ever capture all the opportunities, so they cash in on whatever part they can... and if they're too lazy to hash out some deals with companies to do well in a non-competitive market or battle it out against killer marketers in a competitive market, then they sell information... either well or not so well.

k2rev,

I've read both of the recent ebooks, the information covered in them is available for free all over the net, plus, if you also use AdWords you know that you can't use hop-urls, the ebook states you have to use them as this is the only way to not have a website where you advertise the affiliate products.
Secondly, when I signed up, (on the official site and an affiliate as well), I payed the small sum, which is shipping cost. Then next month my card got charge requests for a rather high sum, from both websites. This IS a scam because I was never told that I will have to pay more thna what is advertised on the websites.

This week we're talking about how the very same "Gurus" (Hello Chris Carpenter) are gaming Google Adwords by Direct-Linking Affiliate sites with Re-Direct & Cloaking - a real eye-opener.

Ok so, I need to post this up.  There are lot of questions on this program. and I hope I can anwer some or best case all of them.

I used to work for a company that sold Coaching Programs via Telephone for people who were interested in making money on the interent.
The program we sold was ok, not top notch like they claimed (you cant get in over the internet its by telephone call only)
anyways one of the things I learned was that part of the way this program makes money (not for you HINT, HINT) is that it sells the information of anybody who buys, or "pays for shipping and handleing" to marketing companies and then companies all over the world start calling your house saying blah blah blah we understand you are interested in making money on the internet we can help you with our program. blah blah blah. essentially when you buy you are really paying for somebody else to market to you. and its pain in the butt to get your name of the lists being sold out (if you even can)

This program specifically was one of the programs we got the most "leads" from. it doesnt work, point blank. its a scam its fake, whatever you need to call it thats what it is.

if you want the easy google cash or profits program for dummies version here it is.

If you buy this you are basically PAYING to have your information sold to marketing compaines for them to use to call you phone number to try to get more money from you. thats what you are really doing when you buy this program.

sorry folks but this really is a scam..
hope I've been of help to you guys

I found this and feel that it answers the questions that it is a scam:

This site offers a free trial to earn money by posting links on www.google.com. It tells you that if you do not sign up immediately (3 minute limit based on what I could tell) then you will lose the opportunity to get the free trial for $1. They then ask for your credit card information. It is my understanding that you cannot reach any of the available numbers to cancel the subscription. And then you are left with the people taking money out of your card and running your credit card bill up. I am leary of any site that asks for my credit card information, but this is something that needs to be taken care of so that others are not hustled.

Read the bottom of the page for the disclaimer to fix your concern.  Also, if you see mis-spellings in ad copy you should probably not proceed.  If they were truly professionals then they would be better spellers and have the copy checked over.

Just like when you recieve the Nigerian and British guys telling you that they have money to ("launder") deposit into your account.  You need to do your due diligence up front, to protect your investment, no matter how small you think it is going to be.

Yes, this information is available on the NET for free, but most things are if you look long enough.  They package a legitimate product together and it is up to the user to test it out.  Why do you think that the best products that you have ever used get the best word of mouth from you and the worst get even more word of mouth from you?

I clicked on the "Google Cash Kit" ad on Facebook out of curiosity.  The guy shilling the program claimed to be from my hometown.  What a remarkable coincidence!  That, and the ease with which he went from rags to riches, convinced me to do a little research.  I found out what others here have already stated.  They take the credit card information you give when paying the $2.95 initial fee and continue to milk your account on a monthly basis for the use of their "service".  The ad I clicked on had plenty of rosy testimonials from the nouveau riche who had profited from this program, but strangely, visitors can't reply.  Replies have been disabled due to "spam".  (That takes some big brass ones, right there.)
Bottom line is, if it was possible to make $5,000-$50,000 a month doing next to nothing, why are we only hearing about it from shady websites?  Wouldn't this be newsworthy, especially when so many people are struggling to make ends meet?  Why aren't people quitting their low-paying, back-breaking jobs in droves to benefit from this amazing plan?  These schemes are totally bogus.  The thing I don't understand is why more isn't being done to inform the public.

Hi everybody!

This is ridiculous! I got a pop up whilst searching for 'differential equations' maths subject i won't bore you with. On the pop up there was a guy explaining his life story and how he's making loads of money. Vey convincing web page with photos of people around the world who received their cheques that entitled them to thousands of dollars free money. My first instinct reaction was to click on the link, which i did, told me to enter my details and pay $2.00. I didn't do that, gladly, because i decided to search ON GOOGLE 'Easy Google Cash' and i stumbled accross this discussion.

These guys are making loads of money not by doing what they promote but by cleverly using psychology to convince you that you can as well.  Their target market is people who want more money by doing nothing. Come on, who doesn't want that? When will people understand that IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN LIKE THAT! Show me one genuine person who made it by being stupid and doing nothing at home. I doubt there's any!

Don't get fooled! Report them or try to contact them before you sign up to anything!

Google Easy Cash - please read the terms and conditions and you will get your answer. If you decide to pay the $1.97 shipping fee for their "free trial" software, you are also authorizing the same credit card to be charged $135.92/month for three different services. $72.21 is monthly membership and there are other two programs you get for the rest (which you may cancel).
As far as the content and usability of the software - only someone who has used it can share it. But I suspect everyone makes $300/day.

I noticed this ad about a half an hour ago, and almost paid the shipping and handling immediately reacting off of impulse...don't do this. Something told me to get the number to Google Customer Service and just ask them about the legitimacy of this profitable business under there name, because the story of the rags to riches guy goes back a couple of years, but when i checked it out the first thing i noticed was a 5 minute timer. now if this has beec succesfully around for several years, why do I only have 5 minutes to submit my credit card number. Not to mention it's saturday and Googles Customer Service would not be available until monday. Upon further review through Google search i came upon a site titled " is Google Cash Kit real"... I got my answer. Thank you everyone who posted thier comments before i did. You confirmed my suspicion and saved me alot of money I don't have. The most disturbing thing about this whole thing that almost fooled me was the site this ad was posted on. I found it as an ad on ESPN's home page. I'm disgusted with ESPN, because they accepted money from a scam company to advertise on their site without either researching the company or just not caring how many of their fans get scammed.

Hi gullible,

I too  noticed this pop-up while on a legitimate news website. What caught my attention is that the ad featured a guy listed as living in the town next to mine - a remote area in Eastern Long Island so I wonder whether these ads pop up based on your ISP.  And the timer is really weird - don't understand what that's about. Anyway, I agree with you that it's disgusting that legitimate news sites accept advertising from scammers. They must be really hard up for ad revenue.

Just an FYI - I always sign up for these things with a completely bogus, untraceable email and address - unless they are truly blatently breaking the law, and I then sign up using local detachments of the Federal police (FBI, RCMP) as contact info.

It is ALWAYS correct - ALWAYS - safe to assume that if you have to pay anything up front, it is a scam.  If you are working piecework, the amount of the supplies/tools will be negotiated out of future payments.  If you don't bother to do the job and keep the supplies or tools or both, you will be sued - they have all of your info.  If there is a pay-per-use service, it isn't a job.  That is illegal, in most states, and in Canada.  If you are working FOR someone, they pay you, not the other way around.  If they claim you are a contractor, then they will take a percentage of your earnings.

I have worked contract work for almost 20 years, and I have NEVER had to pay an agency or firm to get work.  These scams are something that appeals to people when they are desperate - and usually when we can't afford to spend $38.50 (often a monthly fee, too) and surely cannot afford to take some ethereal, fictitious business to small claims court.

OH, and as for "Easy Google Cash" - the terms are on the first page, before you sign up.  They clearly state that they have recurring monthly charges of over $50.00.  It is also clearly stated that it is a negative option - you have to jump through hoops to ask them to stop charging you for two 'free' services, but because it is present in the terms - it is Caveat Emptor.

Recently online there have been a number of people promising that by paying a $1.95 USD shipping fee for their free kit will make you large sums of money with google within the first 72 hours and sometimes even 48 hours. The fact is that making large sums of money with google within 72 hours is almost impossible due to the face when you do apply with google the processing time google requires is at least two days. When google does approve the application you then need to start developing a landing page that is relevant and a popular global search. These earn with google kits are simply guides on how to go through the entire process and they attempt to fool you with there elaborate but clear Terms and Agreements.

I do not agree with the so called Google Cash Program. It is a scam. On my website I expose Traffic Coleman as the scammer he is. If you want to really make money online visit http://sponsoredgooglelinks.com.. It has a lot of info on how to do so with affiliate links and with your own site. Check out my site for a lot of your google questions.

People these "Easy Google Cash" fake blogs are all scams and illegal. The checks are fake, the testimonials are fake and the personas are fake.

Whatever you do, do not give them any of your contact details or card numbers!

When you come across these fake blogs report them to the Attorney Genral of your state and to the FTC (links below)

Anything that sounds too good to be true, simply isn't true. Period. There are only three ways to get rich:

1) Be born to rich parents.
2) Win the lottery (and I mean a legit, state lottery who's tickets you buy at the convenience store, not online, foreign country, et cetera; those are all scams and your odds of winning a legit lottery are miniscule)
3) Work very, very hard your whole life, so that when you die your children can enjoy the money you were too busy to enjoy.

That's it. There's no other way.

Ah Carp! I wish I had "Googled" this before clicking the send!
And getting rich... well you can get rich selling Amway or doing a period schemes or strong-arming old ladies into buying water softeners. Depends on motivation and lack of ethics. ;p
I was looking for simple at home income. And was careless because I'm getting desperate.
Just because something sounds too good doesn't mean it is a scam. My Mother has used that Lemko guy's material and Grant Research Assistant with success.
But the pages I was on were very misleading.

First the "local" on facebook ad. I assumed it was like my boyfriends side business, you can add and Ad to your region.
Dude talking on how he made it big. And it sounded like he was a spammer with auto stuff, but if you can use it on Google I figured it was legitimate enough.
The link he provided  was called GoogleKit,  then directed to EASY GOOGLE CASH which had a different name in the address. THREE pages.. my personal info and my bank info and the YOU BEEN HAD page. That third page is where I woke and smelled the manure! None had terms of service (I screen shotted each) or contact number. Had blah blah not affiliated blurb, but did not say what state or even country this thing operates out of!
And though it said save this page on the last and third last page (unless you count the loading bar page that make sure you can't click back)? It had no info.. a blank fuzzy box where a confirmation number should have been!
That is when I got a chill.

Then... I came here.
And called my bank as I typed this!
Even as I was trying to prevent the debit, they were fast at debiting my account as A1MEMBER Services for that 1.97 (which I would have said fol and money parted if not for posts here saying the debit further fees and services!)
And they were fast to emailing my membership link as yet a different company name. An affiliate in spamming carp? And it was asking to be unspammed and added to my safe list.  um...NO?
So now I have to dispute the 1.97 to prevent further claim and close that card.
The worst thing.. it is not like you can shut these bozos down or even report them so they are not allowed to take up valuable bandwidth with their carpy misleading Ads!
Atty General  is not likely to help. They can't mess with Interstate stuff.

Carp!
The last redirect was too late too stop. Stupid AD.. worse thing is I wasn't actually clicking on it.. it opened when I was taking my curser to a Desktop Folder on that side of my screen

Guess I had to get mine for being so snide about others gettin burned. Karma.. she is a bee yotch

Wow, it is that mentality that keeps people from growing to their full potential. You say that there's no other way to get rich? How about the self-made millionaires through acting, real estate investment, network marketing, inventors, sports players, etc. People with your mentality will say these people are lucky, but your incorrect. They BELIEVED they can make it big, they PERSISTED, and they went through hell and back to finally make it where people with your mentality would have quit along the way to make it big and say, "I didn't work for me." Believe it or not, anyone that switches their mentality WILL make it in anything they do.

It is a scam... plain and simple. apparently you have to give them your credit card number for that $1 charge but the thing is their numbers can't be reached to cancel the subscription so now they have your number and just keep running it up. furthermore i tried to find where it was said to be reputable by google, cnbc, abc, etc. And of course no luck. YOU CAN'T JUST GET RICH DOING NOTHING, if you could why would they tell you.

I  personally think it is a BIG scam for one simple reason that my dad always told me....."Son if its too good to be true then it really isnt true". Secondly, from the research i have been doing visiting the websites, i have noticed that the websites are poorly designed which would suggest it was made by a bunch of scammers who just dont have the resources to make genuine and official websites, have u seen the grammatical errors?
furthermore, if it was really legitimate, it would be posted on google's website and you would have gotten adverts from google itself. Also, you would have met someone who had actually gone through the system and worked for them because, hey not many people wouldsay no toearning at home with less work (few people woyld be left at the office).

I also think that the reason that they sell the money-making thing is because they want your details, name address account number etc that they could use to ruin a life in a giffy, plus, and here's the funny part, you would actually be paying to get ruined.
I would say its not worth it and not even the risk at all. so leap very very carefully 'cause IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN ITS ISNT TRUE, besides nothing good in this world we live in, comes for free, NOTHING.

Good job guys, i would not call it a scam, i just think they are exaggerating the thing.
They are quick to show you the photoshopped checks and 4get to tell you, it will be a hard work.
i own 3 videos sites with adsense, after running the sites for 3 months i got my first check from google for $101

I also tried Adwords back in 2006, and yeah i did make money but it wasn't what i was told  "so called step by step".

Don't waste your dough buying this thing.

Register to Google adwords and clickbank.com ( for free) then pick a product on clickbank and go back to GoogleAdwords to promote it. thats all

And for Adsense, download this http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VZQ44K3K

I would have to say that yes this is a scam. You pay $2.99 to receive this expedited electronic package directing you to sign up for a domain name through Just Host.com. However, in Just Host.com's Terms and Conditions, here is what they have posted:

Resource Usage

User may not:

Use 25% or more of system resources for longer than 90 seconds. There are numerous activities that could cause such problems; these include: CGI scripts, FTP, PHP, HTTP, etc.

Run stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any point in time on the server. This includes any and all daemons, such as IRCD.

Run any type of web spider or indexer (including Google Cash / AdSpy) on shared servers.

Notice the last sentence. User may not: Run any type of web spider or indexer (including Google Cash / ....) on shared servers. A real business would make sure to research their partners or those they are referring their customers to and make sure they are allowed to operate on that site.

When going into the site, you find out that it is through a website called YourBlogProfits.com!. When trying to locate information on them, when you type in their name to search them, various websites come up. This one was the one I clicked on: http://www.quantcast.com/yourblogprofits.com. However, when I tried to search for yourblogprofits.com it said:

Sorry, we don't have enough data to profile yourblogprofits.com

This was after you click on the link provided by the search engine which takes you directly to what looks like a profile for this web page.

You then have to click on view website to get to this website:  https://www.yourblogprofits.com/  which state the following at the bottom of the page:

You must be 18 years old or older to order.
† The New York Times, Yahoo, AOL, ABC, USA Today, CNN, MSNBC, Forbes, Time Magazine, and Google do not sponsor, endorse, and is no way affiliated with Eco Marketing, LLC or this promotion.

This too was after they plastered the logos of all of these companies on their web page.

Here is a website that better explains these sites: http://electronplumber.com/google-money-scam-affiliate-sites-the-full-list/

I hope this helps!! This costed me $3, hope it saves you more.

Also, if you want a domain name, go through GO Daddy.com, they have been around for sometime and they also offer hosting.

Finally, Adsense is free through Google and Google will pay you for people visiting your Blog Page (which they also offer free) and clicking on ads.

The recent link that I received: http://the-newyork-tribune.com/finance/google-now-hiring.html :makes reference to the New York Tribune which unless the name has been since reused as a publication has been out of production since 1967. The article on that link clearly states that Google is the sponsor and that Google is the hiring force of this program yet in the disclosure agreements it states that this program, the pages and all other parts of the program are not affiliated with Google in any way.

My 2 cents: This is a scam much like the cell phone text spammers that tell you to give them your personal information because your accounts have been closed.

If you waste your monies and disperse your personal information for this I can only ask Darwin why you still breathe.

As a reminder to others regarding evaluating the various money-making schemes available, please review the following articles before signing up for anything.

http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/how-to-steer-clear-of-money-scams.html
http://www.google.com/support/websearch/bin/answer.py?answer=9110
http://ftc.gov/opa/2009/07/shortchange.shtm

Be certain to read the Terms of Service and every single page that is linked to from any of these sites. You may be surprised with what you find there.

If you do sign up for anything, please print out any of the "fine print" that you may be asked to agree to as you place your order.  In some cases, you may not be able to "find" that fine-print later.

Always remember that just because the "Google" name is inappropriately used in the names of many of these offers, does not mean that Google is associated with them in any way.

Even though they may clearly state that on their pages that they are not associated with Google, you still need to carefully evaluate any offer so that you are not caught by surprise if your credit cards  or bank accounts are charged unexpected, recurring charges.

@Chris Carpenter,

Chris as I understand what you said:  You are the founding father and all the scams and scammers are clones that others have built around your original system and have given you a bad reputation.

I'm not going to post any of the more inflamatory links, people can search your name +scam and research it for themselves [beware that some are just clever advertisements, please read several of the results].

The first reference link below describing why your system is unlikely to work today, I think the author is extremely generous in his evaluation your system and even states that at one point in time, several years ago, you may have actually made quite a bit of money using your system.

The second reference is a Google Blog, I'll quote the most important paragraph from the blog:

"To be clear, we are proud to say that many companies and individuals do legitimately make money placing ads on their websites with Google AdSense or participating in programs like the Google Affiliate Network. Creating a successful website is hard work — successful sites earn their money by writing compelling content, developing useful applications and maintaining vibrant user communities. Any claim that you can skip all of that and make just as much money by posting links, using a secret system, or running a kit to generate websites should be treated with a heavy dose of skepticism."

PS: I'm Sorry, but that is one of the more "tacky" looking websites I've ever seen [Friendly Hint: please consider paying a professional web page designer and get something more aesthetically pleasing].

First of all these ads have so many RED FLAGS it is unreal...THINK about it...If you were making $15,000 to $30,000 a week as these ads claim would you be desperately posting an ad to tell everyone about how THEY can do it? HECK NO  you would be too busy placing those ads at a mind boggling speed to get a bigger check next time...Another point to ponder: This is exactly HOW they are making THAT money...If they get 7,575 people to get on board and JUST pay the $1.97 WAH LA...$14,922 and some change...I think that is all they are looking for because noone ever seems to GET the info they paid for and if you do it is just vague info that you can get for free all day long on the web...
( who is going to hire a lawyer to collect back their $1.97)  so the matter is dropped and those theives get their free $1.97...They use a low amount like that because psychologically it works on people because they reason to themselves that they won't be losing much if it is something that won't work...and curiosity almost always gets the best of us...  YES  any time I see that my credit card info has to be given out, "CLICK",  I can't get out of there fast enough...LOL     Also, any time you see these LOOOONG drawn out ads that go on forever trying to convince you that "THIS IS THE THING YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR" , I am sorry but you just wasted however long you took to read all that...PLEASE  DON'T BE FOOLED>>>>>>>>

2centsworth: Thanks for posting your 2cents here. Just so everyone knows, I got their GET MONEY FAST ad from a Porn website. And had to Google to find your guys chatting about it. See the difference?

A search brings up a real website. A fake website gets thrown in your face when you're doing something else telling you it knows you and knows how you feel. So much hard work you have tried, DERPADER! Please do not fall into this scam, 2cents is correct, $2.00 to you isn't much, and spending a while $2 isn't to bad. Except these guys collect your $2 from 10,000 people. then its worth throwing a bunch of lies on the internet. and who is to fight them, for $2?

Once again, please do not get into this or any other program that is shady like this.

The growth of these schemes is an alarming trend, and among other efforts we're making to combat this abuse, we recently participated in Good Morning America's special report on the topic of work-at-home scams:

I first read about GoogleCash on a website that was mentioned in a lecture I downloaded from iTunes U. The website itself is run by one of those self-proclaimed guru's that like to put there own photo on there website. I generally am skeptical about those kind of people that run those kind of websites, but the fact is was mentioned in a legitimate lecture made me trust the content more. Plus, the guy writes same things on his website that make common sense and doesn't charge for it.

Hearing about GoogleCash this way made it sound logical and legit, but after reading this thread it does not feel so fresh after all. I am now also wondering why iTunes would allow a lecture that refers, be it indirectly, to what appears to be a scam.

These unscrupulous individuals are making money, by ripping people off, using the GOOGLE name.  I don't know how to contact the right people at Google, maybe some of you do.  But it would be wonderful if Google would put a banner type ad on the home page, both Classic Google and iGoogle, alerting people that there are numerous Google Cash type scams out there along with the ABC news link that Jaime (Google Employee) posted.

Also, I was analyzing the page that comes back anytime you do a google search.  The very first line on the page shows:
Web       Images    Videos    Maps    News   Shopping    Mail      more

then there is a thin blue line across the page.
Then there is a nice white space across the page
and on the next line,  you see the word Google, the Search box, the Search Button.

It would be great if Google could add some text in RED Bold on the White Space under the thin blue line, telling people not to be fooled by the
"Get Rich with Google Cash scams" and there also give them the link to the ABC News show.

Not only will this help the unsuspecting consumer, but I bet Google customer service fields a ton of calls from people calling to find out if these things are scams.  It's a win/win for everyone involved.

Here's the answer folks!  Click this link - it's all bs...I just got scammed - I was thinking it was probably too good to be true but thought to make the money they were making both mates were doing it 24/7 and thought well, even if I make a few hundred a week.

I just picked up a friend and told her about it only to find out they charged her credit card around 140.00 plus another 39 plus on top of that she said that there were other unauthorized transactions from insurance companies on her card from Pakistan.....

Not only that but I can't even get a hold of them to cancel AND my bank said it's a pending transaction and I have to wait to hear from them!  I am an idiot for not reading that disclaimer....they make it sound like you only have 3 days to take the 3-day trial course or whatever...but if you read fine print you have 3 days to cancel.

Regardless all the newspapers they list are fictional.......read the snopes link to find out.....there goes my gas bill payment.

It's a scam alright!! I fell for a similar ad that appeared on Facebook, the contents were similar but the lady in the picture was differenet, and had a different name as well. But she had the same story about her husband and kids, and at the time the the product being sold was Google Internet Kit. It said that the initial cost was just the shipping fee of $1.95 and I would be receiving a kit within 2 weeks of payment. I paid by credit card and then when nothing arrived after waiting for a few weeks I realised I had been scammed after looking them up on the internet. the very earnest looking lady and her website were nowhere to be found on the internet! my husband immediately checked his credit card transactions and found a couple of charges to the account by a company called XM Beauty and Health!! these guys are absolute scammers with obviously no sense of right and wrong!! we contacted our credit card company and fortunately, they helped us out.
