Explain your issue in full detail here: It would be very nice if google buzz not only supported twitter, but the truly open microblogging platform status.net with its main instance identi.ca.
Integration should be fairly straightforward, since identi.ca has a twitter-compatible API (but offers much more...)
Not only that, but by supporting StatusNet (f. laconi.ca), Google opens up Buzz to a lot of micro-blogging networks. Support for StatusNet and any OMB should be mandatory these days (if not first).

Add me to this list. As a supporter of Free and Open Source Software, and as one who has the dignity not to settle for Twitter's shady terms of service, I urge Google to continue their support of open standards with identi.ca support in Google Buzz.
It already works. It's just not supported out of the box: you've to put a link to your identica page on your Google profile. Then, check "this page is about me".
