Insights for Search Help

What are top searches?

Top searches refers to search terms with the most significant level of interest. These terms are related to the term you've entered; if you didn't enter in a search term, the top searches will be related to the category or country/territory you've chosen. Our system determines relativity by examining searches that have been conducted by a large group of users preceding the search term you've entered, as well as after. Keep in mind that top searches are also automatically categorized, so some errors in classification may exist.

If you're comparing multiple search terms, locations or time ranges, you can see related top searches pertinent to each one by using the drop-down menu. Once you select a different term, location or time range from that menu, the list will automatically adjust to be relevant.

Please note that Insights for Search applies a filter for search terms that may be explicitly sexual. Also note that top searches won't include adult content unless the search terms entered pertain to such content. No filter is 100% accurate, but these filters should eliminate most inappropriate material. Since some material may occasionally not be filtered out in the top searches, please contact us if you find offensive content, and we'll investigate it.
