The role: Finance Manager, Content Partnerships
In this role, you will be responsible for managing global Finance support for Google’s Content Acquisition partnerships. You will work in close partnership with the Sales and Product organizations to provide decision making support that informs the company’s content acquisition strategy. You will gain valuable experience in a position which offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to add innovative ideas to a growing Finance organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global business analysis, planning activities and deal analytics support for Google’s Content Acquisition partnerships.
- Partner with Global Sales leadership to define and analyze key success metrics, measure sales productivity and inform make vs. buy decisions for Content Acquisition investment.
- Provide Sales and Product leadership with clear insights into impact of Content Acquisition investment, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead the effort to reduce results variability, analyzing root causes and driving forecasting improvements for Content Acquisition Costs (CAC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute deal frameworks, financial terms, and partnership agreements.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree preferred, MBA/MS with a strong academic record is a plus.
- At least 5 years financial / quantitative analysis experience from a Fortune 500 or high growth firm, or a leading consultancy or financial services company.
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, leadership skills, and ability to communicate with highly technical management team.
- Superior Excel financial modeling skills and proficient PowerPoint skills (database experience a plus).
- Team player with a positive attitude who can work with international teams.
