What's it like to work in Mountain View?
Googlers may appear to be laid back, but there's no disputing the high energy and inspiration that emanates from the Mountain View, California, headquarters. This is where we developed our passion and commitment to the company's mission, core values and corporate culture. Google has since expanded to more than 40 offices worldwide, but Mountain View continues to serve as Google's largest engineering and research and development center. All of our key business operations are represented, including product, sales, marketing, finance, legal and human resources.
Mountain View is now its own mini-global community, enriched by the diversity of the backgrounds, perspectives and talents of more than 8,000 Googlers. It's an active and collegial community too, strengthened by the many Mountain View interest groups and group activities such as table-tennis tournaments, mailing lists and internal Tech Talks.
