Google Chicago is a key US Sales and Engineering office located in the River North area of downtown Chicago. The Chicago Googlers are a diverse and expanding engineering group as well as a core part of our North American advertising business.
As one of the largest Google offices in the US, and located in the downtown of the third-largest city in America, you might not expect the Google Chicago office to have such an incredible culture and friendly atmosphere -- but Google's Chicago location has all of that and so much more. Even as the number of employees grows by the hundreds, when you step through the front doors, you instantly see an office where we still strive to know everyone's name. Chicago Googlers actively take part in the office culture and activities, such as tech talks, book readings with local authors or our weekly celebration at IIFY (Is It Friday Yet?). In Chicago, you can organize tons of social events, participate on recreational sports teams, and do a lot outside the office in an environment where co-workers are friends.

Google Code
Google Code is our public-facing developer site and platform. The team in Chicago is primarily responsible for the hosting component, currently hosting over 120,000 open source projects.
FeedBurner
This new product re-syndicates XML feeds for publishers, providing AdSense ads and detailed analytics.
DART Search
DART Search lets advertisers manage campaigns, report on advertisement performance and optimize their bids to specific revenue and acquisition goals across AdWords, Yahoo, MSN AdCenter, and other search engines.
The Google Affiliate Network
Previously known as DoubleClick Performics Affiliate, the Google Affiliate Network allows advertisers to open their ads to all publishers in the network, or select specific publishers that match their criteria.
Data Liberation Front
This project works with multiple teams across the company to provide users of our consumer products the easiest possible avenue to import and export their data from any given Google product.
