An Interview with Mary Meeker
Mobile is taking off, and Mary Meeker, Partner at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, tells us what's following. She explains that the even though mobile came out of the gates almost twice as fast as the internet, it's not done growing yet. Consumers are using it more and more to watch videos, play games and conduct their daily lives. As a result, advertisers have been quick quick to jump aboard with ads, apps, and sites that continue to adapt to new devices.
“Every senior employee at the company every week should go try a series of devices and make sure [what they're making] is effective and good. If they don't like using it, then their customers aren't going to like using it.“
