Customers Need Answers

When users perform a search after getting a medical diagnosis, the first thing they receive should be an answer to their question—not a sales pitch, says Joshua Palau, VP Search Engine Marketing at Razorfish. He discusses the intimate relationship that consumers have with search, a place where they enter personal queries as well as consumer questions, and advises that marketers respect that space in order to retain trust.
