How much holiday shopping do people conduct online? According to a survey study with OTX, the number is on the increase. More people shopped online on Black Friday in 2010 than in 2009. We found that Free Shipping Day created the biggest year-over-year increase in online sales, with sales climbing 61% year-over-year. We also found that 67% of consumers researched online prior to purchase during the holiday season.
