Whether simply checking out gifts online or taking them to the checkout, shoppers relied on their mobile devices and tablets in 2011 more than ever before. In fact, this study uncovered that 80% of smartphone owners and 70% of those with tablets were expected to use their devices for shopping in 2012, too. This behavior uncovers unique opportunities that advertisers can leverage all year round.
