AEC Objects

Hi,

We are running ACAD 2010. I just received some new drawings, which seem to have AEC objects ie walls doors windows and such.
When I open the new drawing the AEC objects look fine.
My problem is when I open an active drawing which Xref's the file with the AEC objects....the objects are uncontrollable. I can not turn off the hatch of the AEC Objects.

Is there any solutions or variable to adjust?

Check to make sure that drawing isn't trying to read them in as OLE objects.
Also be sure that you have the correct object enablers loaded.

There is a command that loads with the object enabler(s) that allows you to override the display configuration used by the XRef. The command is AecDisplayManagerConfigsSelection or DisplayManagerConfigsSelection.
