      Updated review

Folks were wound up this morning.
Had eggs, meat & home fries. Passed up the coffee. It is flavored water, not much taste.
Made my own espresso this morning instead.
The bacon was said to be slab, but that was doubtful, although it tasted good. Too thin to be slab. Eggs cooked well & looked good on the plate. Home fries much better than the hash browns we had the other day.
Bathroom was without soap & sparse on towels.
Although relatively clean, could be a bit better.
      Friendly staff.

Not the worst station by far but close to it.

They are a truck stop with more diesel fuel pumps vs reg unl.

In the winter most places look clean. Not this place.
I passed by for a fuel up. And glass cleaning. I noticed a few things. Broken glass cleaner handle. Washer tanks broke off sitting on the ground. Wet towel dispenser also on the ground. Credit card readers taped of with a note to see cashier.

Food 3 small restaurant inside. Divvy.
Ambiance 1 grimy in need of a face lift.
      Service 4 polite friendly.

      Absolute DUMP!!

Gas is $1.00 per gallon higher than other stations. Petro and Loves at the next exit. Dont say I didnt warn you.

Dont you love how the owners are responding to the Yelp reviews? Totally checked out. This place will be bulldozed in 6 months.

To many people for one waitress..no one seems to want to help her..all the Srimp you can eat ..they fail to mention..it is popcorn shimp..fish ,catfish. .couple other ..the bake potato came out black inside and out..Ask the owner about bake potato .he said that's the way they come..the potato were left over from last week ..or very over cook..We spend 50.00 to. 60.00 out on Friday night supper. If you don't need our business.all you have to do if give me a bad supper..We won't be back...If need a good place to eat try the Downtown Lounge..Kentland...

UPDATE: Since I first reviewed this place, I am sorry to say that what I hoped would continue to improve, had stagnated and begin to slip back.

The building and grounds need serious work. After all these months, there are still broken windows.

The food, well, it can be better. All I can say is that there are better places to go unless you are adventurous or desperate.

      ####################

Ok, let me begin by saying that this place looks like a dump from the road ... and it is! If I were passing by I may drive to the next exit before I went into this place. BUT ...

1- NEW OWNERS! They are doing their level best to keep fuel prices as low as possible for both truck drivers and people who use unleaded fuels in their vehicles. They have done a very good job in making the place bright at night and not so scary at the pumps. They have a way to go before they can be considered a destination truck stop, but if I had to choose fuel price vs. glitz ... price wins every time!

2- NEW RESTAURANT! They have gutted the place and put in a completely new restaurant. New tables, new carpets, new walls, new staff ... new everything. Just like the fuel for your vehicle, the fuel they provide for your body is just as inexpensive and they don't seem to be sacrificing quality either. I just finished breakfast a few minutes ago for my wife and I. Total with tip was about $14.00. She had french toast (4-1/2 slices) with an egg on the side. I had 3 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, has browns, toast and we both had coffee. PLUS +++ take a good look at the menu, the usual truck stop food but look closer. Schwarma, falafel, dolmades and killer salads! AND, they do it well.

3- Biggest complaint you may see is that the place is cash only. UNTRUE! We just paid for fuel and food with our credit card. They do not do cash back on debit, but they do accept plastic.

4- Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone we encountered was happy to help us and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

I live in Rensselaer and this is a 10 mile drive for me to have a meal when I am within walking distance of some good restaurants. I make this drive regularly and am not sorry at all.

If you are on I-65 in Indiana and are looking to fuel up you and the vehicle, make a stop at exit 205 and turn north for about 100 yards. All major credit cards are accepted. Currently not open 24 hours but they are open early and late into the night.

Grubby restrooms and cash only. While it isn't the crappiest gas station that I can imagine, it is definitely in the bottom ten percent. I can't believe that this is the only option at an exit off a major interstate.

New owners but lots of problems! The restrooms are trash, no supplies, and the food service is horrible! The single waitress did her best with only four tables and eight people in late morning. Most of this small group were locals,as I am, but wonder why anyone goes back!
The cook named Gloria took nearly a half hour to fix eggs and bacon, although she probably did her best. Very incompetent and unprofessional.

The community needs this restaurant but it doesn't look as though it will make it! Sorry folks, not a good experience!

We eat here every Sunday.Today will be our last.Sat down at 7:45.For 45 minutes watched waitress talk to people she knows. At 8:30 she finally took our order. There was us and five other people. We were the first to order. As waiting on food six other tables came in ordered, ate, paid. Finally everyone at our table got their food but us.Twenty minutes later ours arrived. No apology nothing from waitress. Was rude because at this point we decided we were going to leave. We ordered at 8:30 food arrived at 9:30.Won't be returning.
