Positive: The room was clean
Negatives: The air conditioner was SO loud. Couldn't be moved to another room because they were all booked. The elevator was a little scary. Doors would open, then partially close, then open again. Numbers didn't light up and 1 number was missing. Hotel is in need of updating. Breakfast was fine-nothing special about it. A few different reasons why I probably wouldn't book La Quinta again.
Very poor service- when I first said I was checking in, the front desk manager said we're all booked up.
My response: I have a reservation so there should be a room available since I was originally supposed to check in yesterday.
Then she tells me the water in Andover has a slightly brown color so they'll give us bottled to drink.
I have some friends in Andover that live close by and the water in their house was completely clear. Sounds like the water at this hotel is poor quality.
Found a few insects in my room and even though I'm on the 3rd floor.
Forgot toothpaste and they didn't have complimentary ones when I asked as most hotel chains should for their guests.
Asked for a late Monday checkout which is normally 11 and the rooms weren't completely booked up. The desk manager said yeah 11:30.
My response: can i checkout at 1 since my flight was delayed.

This place is plan disgusting. The bathroom and smells of the rooms were disgusting. The amount of noise party and smoking happening here was out of this world. This place is definitely unsafe and gross. Please see bathroom pictures! I will be fighting for my a refund!

Stayed here several times with our dog over the last few years. First time we stayed they put us on the second floor right next to the elevator. That wasn't good with constant foot traffic.This time we asked for a different dog room and they put us on the first floor. This time right next to an exit door that was constantly slamming and waking us and the dog. We found out when we went outside this was the smoking hangout. Steps blocked with smokers, cigarette butts all over the area.Place hadn't seen a cleaning crew in months if that. Beer bottles in the yard. Definitely not what you want to see out your entry door. Disappointing breakfast. Best part was the Chili's next door. Search for another motel you won't be happy with this one.

Ok this place is terrible.
First- I get to the room and there's 3 little bugs on the ceiling crawling directly above the bed and 4 fruit flies. Every time I killed a fruit fly there was more flying around. The water in the toilet was brown and the toilet was stained. Also the shower curtain was completely stained and brown along the bottom. Stayed here 3 days, 2 nights and asked for new towels and for someone to clean the room. I was told there no was no more towels available so I had to use my dirty wet towels that had turned brown after being hung on the metal towel rack. Even after I asked, I did not get my room cleaned at all. Staff was completely unprofessional, not friendly at all, did not apologize or try to accommodate me and they all looked dirty. TV wasn't working at all and I didn't even bother to ask for them to come fix it because they've been zero help so far anyway.
The ONLY plus was the water pressure in the shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable but that's about it.

This is an update on November 29th 2021. It is now over a month since we stayed at the Wyndham in Andover Boston. I would like to inform that the manager of this hotel never reached out to me regarding the bug bites that I had on my body from this stay. Not an apology, not any concern towards their guests. I am assuming that this is the norm for this hotel. That it is not the first time or the last time they will have problems with people staying here and getting bitten by bugs.

Let me start by saying the outside of the hotel does not look bad. It can be deceiving. We checked in rather quickly and were situated on the second floor. All three rooms had issues. My daughters bed had a blood stain on it. The bathtub was clogged. The pillows in her room had feathers coming out. My ex-husband's room also had problems of clogging in the bathtub. We were all complaining about being itchy. We thought that maybe it was the detergent that they're using at the hotel. Unfortunately I think the problem was way deeper as I woke up with small bites on the side of my ribs. We had spoken with Jennifer which was tremendously pleasant and helpful and we told her that we wanted our rooms changed but unfortunately the hotel was sold out. She gave my daughter and I new comforters and sheets to change the beds ourselves which we did. But I discovered the itching problem had to be some sort of bugs on the bed. I did not see the bugs but absolutely had bumps on my body. The mattresses were sunken in. The rooms were dingy and unkept. The bathrooms when we checked in smell like urine like they had not been cleaned. I had to go get Lysol spray and Clorox wipes to clean it myself. The whole stay was horrible. Upon check out I spoke to Jay at the front desk. We checked out on Sunday and I informed Jay that I wanted to speak to a manager and he told me that there are no managers on the weekend. I proceeded to show him the pictures of the bites that I had on my body and I told him to please inform the manager of the nightmare that we went through. He took down my number and he said that the manager will get back to me. I am hoping that sometime tomorrow the manager has the decency to get back to me and call me. I also want to state that the hallway smelled of marijuana. They must allow smoking in the rooms and in the hallways because it was unbearable.
This is not a family friendly hotel. This is not a person friendly hotel. We were so disappointed and couldn't wait to leave that we checked out early Sunday morning. Total disappointment and unfortunately we took this hotel because many of the hotels in the area were taken due to the crowds going to Salem for Halloween celebrations. The whole ordeal was terrible and I do not recommend this hotel at all. Run don't walk and stay somewhere else. Clean, comfortable room. The staff was helpful and friendly. Stay here a week for work. I loved the decor of the rooms. It's nice to see colors instead of the eggshell white walls you see almost everywhere else. I didn't have any issues and I'd recommend staying here.

first of all for a La Quinta I thought this was gonna be a really nice place it looked nice but there was a water main break in the area and the manager told me it will be cleared up by tomorrow so when I checked in they said that they had to send the towels out because the towels cannot be washed in the water so I said well how are we going to wash our bodies and brush our teeth with this dirty water they should've shut down the building the border helpful to shut them down if you see these pictures you will be disgusted I had to talk them into giving my money back and also deal with that when I came back The manager told me that they were going to give me my money back and then when booking.com called them they said they weren't they would refund me the rest of the week but they would only will be taken for one day and I said certainly not they're not taking any days because there was dirty water that was almost black in the tub I filled it four times to run the water through it was disgusting same thing with brushing your teeth I had to use spring water out of a bottle for this kind of a hotel for me to have to be dealing with us if that's this much of a problem there was a water main break then they should've been shut down I was very disgusted and wasted a day of my time which I expect to be compensated for notches for that night for free but for My time wasted that night until three in the morning on the phone with customer service and the next day until 1 o'clock dealing with this I wasted my vacation time and I was very very very disappointed this is not OK and I do not think that Windham would want this reputation it was disgusting and a lot of people were angry about this

I'm a nurse on assignment and was staying in La Quinta for a couple of nights. That quickly came to an end when I discovered there were BEDBUGS present on BOTH beds within my suite. The nighttime worker was very professional and quickly got me moved (it was 3am) and I was informed the manager would speak with me come morning. The manager wasn't present before I went to work and had already left before I came back. No attempt was made to contact me regarding the situation, despite me being expected to check out that day, and when I was trying to check out this was further antagonized by the rude and unprofessional Maria who worked front desk. Having bugs is bad enough but it was their disrespectful and dismissive attitude that really made this a horrible experience and I will never recommend.
