Motel 6

Staff very excellent. Room was great. TV had a guide which is a plus.
Rachel and Joy were the nicest front desk staff ever.

Stayed there for almost 2 months when I was between apartments. Rooms are dirty and roach infested. They were under construction for a remodel and a worker walked right into my room. I don't know how he got in. Scary... The windows were covered in plastic for days. There was a creepy guy hanging in the parking lot, he would go behind the construction dumpsters scale the fence to the sunrise inn then scale the fence again and run something to a door at motel 6. He did this several times in several different days. It appeared to me that he was running drugs back and forth. When this was mentioned to the bearded security guard he wanted no knowledge of it. The bearded security guard just wanted to pick on a 55 yr old grieving Mother on disability, for standing outside her room, having a cigarette.

ROACHES, WEED, DRAMA ETC !! The lady at the front was professional and nice and even helped me but this place is NOT IT!! Go anywhere else!! 3-4 other hotels around here including a Best Western!

If I could give no stars I would ! Worse freaking experience !!! Gave me a room with not working AC mind you I have a 1 year old baby . They did not want to try to fix the issues or give me another room . Refused to give me a refund. I had to go out after midnight, and look for another hotel around the area, and their excuse was that I had an unwanted Guest. Mind you we came to a family party so we were a big group had multiple reservations and everyone was just trying to lend me a hand.

We booked this hotel thru a 3rd party site. When we arrived, the outside didn't look too bad. We needed a hotel for just one night, so pretty much just needed a clean cool room.
When my husband went to check-in, the fire alarm /alarm panel was going off loudly. The employees didn't seem to notice or care.
When we were heading to our room, the parking was bad and you could tell the hotel was bring prepped for a well past overdue remodel.
Upon opening the door to the room, the strong stench of mold and must greeted us. As this is Florida, generally hotels have a light underlying musty smell, so we power on. As my husband heads to check out the shower, I glance at the beds... No comforter, sheets are rumpled and the pillows lean against the wall (no headboards) as if someone was reading in bed.
In the bathroom, my husband discovered the source of the mold smell. A dripping shower, splashed everywhere, coating the walls with water, causing mold. And the floor is flooded. As I walk I bugs scatter.
We quickly left and requested a new room but FORTUNATELY for us, they were all booked.

I gotta leave 0 stars for this place but all things considered I will say their front desk and housekeeping staff was top notch. This area is a little iffy at best and the people are a little weird but very friendly. O

It is not good there is mold on the curtains stains on the beds and the floor is dirty

Inexpensive no frills. Price was good and in a location near I75 that felt safe with Cracker Barrel and other restaurants nearby. If your just looking for a bed and shower at a reasonable price this is your place. Otherwise go somewhere else and be prepared to pay around double.

*Sheets were clean.
*No bugs seen during my stay.
*Beds were comfortable enough.
*Towels were thin but served there purpose.
*I liked that there wasn't old carpet in the room - sold surface floor.
*Convenient location.

Well at least I got my aarp discount and I got free wifi with that
The rooms are stripped down to the essentials. Bed, tv, nightstand NO frills
It was clean. I felt safe. But the place is budget.
There was a clean pool and ice machine in a weird room with a broken door
No coffee in the room or office. I went across the street to the Waffle House for that

Escorts pimps drug dealers and welfare recipients live in this dirty unkept Motel 6. The Desk clerk and other employees know what's going on when a taxi pulls up with a sex worker and another man the john they rent a room for a short 3 hour stay. Drug addicts deputies and prostitutes have parties in the rooms homeless people camp out under the huge tropical plants burning campfires.
